"Present Tense" was created by singer Sophia Stern and multi-instrumentalist Johannes Wolff and is an eclectic journey through songs about memory, disillusionment and hope. This intimate program combines vocals, piano, guitar, electronics and spoken word in a genre-bending meditation on change. With music by Schumann, Poulenc, Marin Marais, Barbara, Radiohead and Joni Mitchell, the evening explores how we hold on to the past, perceive the present and dream a new future.
