When Marlene Von Steenvag, Germany's "Queen of Burlesque" (ZDF), invites you to the 13th International "Berlin Burlesque Festival", it will be sensual, stylish, eccentric and wicked in the venerable halls of the Heimathafen. Top international performers, exciting newcomers, Berlin local heroes and the multi-award-winning jazz band "The Sazerac Swingers" will take to the stage and spread their magical glow over the Neukölln night.
Hardly any other festival in this genre combines artistic standards, entertainment, diversity, glamor and community to such an extent. This year, the "BBF Awards" will once again be presented in various categories to honor special artistic or social commitment.
What is new is that the High Mass of Burlesque Beauty will take place for the first time on two consecutive evenings at our venue: After the traditional opening gala "The Grand Opening" on Thursday, the festival is now also celebrating "The Friday Night" at Heimathafen. The show may promise entertainment, but the night will be long and boisterous. Champagne, please!
