Nutrient-rich soils ensure food security for a growing world population. We therefore need to promote regenerative agriculture that builds up healthy soils and improves their function as carbon sinks.
One solution is to recycle and recover nutrients from human waste. This approach not only has great potential for scaling up in agriculture, but also in construction and urban planning. This is because the recovery of nutrients from human waste not only contributes to the ecological recycling of valuable resources, but also reduces economic dependencies. Using concrete examples, we will discuss how the C2C concept can lead to new, recyclable solutions for regenerative agriculture and thus to a new way of dealing with our (natural) resources.
On the ninth stage of our event series through the Berlin districts, we will be at our C2C LAB on Landsberger Allee.
