Do you feel like getting out and about, but a typical stroll through the city just doesn’t cut it? Then here’s a tip for Berlin: a self-guided city scavenger hunt on your smartphone—from Gendarmenmarkt to Museum Island and on to Alexanderplatz with the TV Tower, right into the heart of an adventure in the capital.
You’ll be immersed in a story: Time could soon be turned upside down. The megalomaniacal inventor Rutger Babylon is on the verge of completing his time machine—and everything points to the fact that he has nothing good in mind. It’s hard to imagine what could happen if such a machine fell into the wrong hands. Private detective Sigbert Dümpel is in over his head with this case, so he’s turning to you: Can you track down the final piece for the time machine before it’s too late? And what would you do if you could control time? As you solve this adventurous case, you’ll spend unforgettable hours against the capital’s most impressive backdrops.
Along the way, the tour takes you to the city’s most impressive landmarks—including the Gendarmenmarkt, Museum Island, Alexanderplatz, and the TV Tower. At each stop, you’ll find fascinating facts, just like on a guided city tour, along with puzzles and challenges.
The concept is simple: You book, you’re ready to go right away, and you can start whenever you want—the rally is available 24/7 (best played during daylight hours) and is valid for three years. Everything runs through a web app directly in your browser—no download needed, and no guide required. According to feedback from other players, the difficulty level is moderate. And if something comes up: You can cancel your booking for free up until the start time.
