Both are former members of the legendary Hamburg hip-hop label Eimsbush Entertainment and have played a decisive role in shaping the sound of the Waterkant.

Billy Baunz has released five albums as D-Flame and has worked with numerous well-known and successful artists - including Seeed, Samy Deluxe, Jan Delay, Denyo 77, Xavier Naidoo, Afrob, Tone and J-Luv.
