Hardly any other artist has shown such consistent growth over the past year as Berq. Emma Rose represents a new generation of German-speaking pop artists who blend lightheartedness with poise. With her catchy melodies and feminist perspectives, she creates songs that are both immediately accessible and rich in meaning. Born in Bochum in 2002, the artist first gained attention on social media: with humorous cover versions of Moneyboy, and later political children’s songs countering right-wing narratives, she demonstrated an early knack for creative twists and viral formats.
