Tour that I play to pay off my debts so that I can buy a fat house with a garden and then have depression in it With his new project "Lieder, die ich geschrieben habe anstatt aus dem Fenster zu springen", beslik (formerly Meister) presents his most personal and extensive work to date. The debut album comprises twelve songs, which brings together his many years of rhapsodic work and condenses the complexity of his artistic expression. Despite the gloomy title, the project lives from a peculiar lightness with which Beslik combines mystical-jazzy soundscapes and profound lyricism, carried by an intuitive naturalness that has characterized his work for years. Beslik moves confidently between decadence and abyss, between ignorance and profundity, between dark banger moments and slightly philosophical street stories. His music reflects the emotional confusion of young city dwellers in the concrete jungle of North Rhine-Westphalia and shows an artist who combines chaos, development and creative continuity - changeable, uncompromising and with a signature that has long been unmistakable in the German rap landscape.
