Poetry slam is one of the most entertaining stage formats in Germany today - and now the Best Of is coming to Wittenberg with the Kiezpoeten.
At the Best Of Poetry Slam, only champions and state champions take to the stage. They bring their strongest texts with them: sometimes humorous, sometimes touching, sometimes surprising - but always captivating and performed live.
The special thing about the poetry slam is its direct nature: no costumes, no props, just self-written texts and strong performances. Every performance is different - from pointed comedy and clever observations of everyday life to poetic stories that resonate for a long time.
And at the end, the audience decides which performance of the evening was the most inspiring.
You can expect an evening full of word art, humor and lively stage energy - ideal for all those who already love poetry slam and for all those who are experiencing the format for the first time. The show will be hosted by Jesko Habert.
