Every two years, the Best OFF Festival of Independent Theater presents outstanding productions of independent dance and theater productions from Lower Saxony. Five productions are shown in the Best OFF_professionals category and compete for the festival prize, a production grant of 30,000 euros. Young up-and-coming artists present their first works in the Best OFF_trainees category.
