Betterov

After a tour 2022/23 sold out with over 15,000 tickets and a great festival summer, Betterov goes on tour again in winter 2023. Betterov, who inspires with his unique and consistent touch, has conquered the stages of Berlin's clubs and pubs since 2015. His songs, located between indie rock and post-punk, deal with the big themes of his generation. Growing up, the feeling of alienation from home and the pressure for self-optimization.

Already with his debut EP "Viertel vor Irgendwas" Betterov showed his almost outrageous talent. Each song he wrote alone at home revealed his artistic prowess. With musician friends in the studio, he managed to create a dense and uncompromising sound that sounds more like a band than a singer/songwriter. His song "Angst" became a hit at the end of 2020 and reached #1 on the FluxFM listener's annual chart. With his single "Dussmann" in 2021, Betterov conquered the hearts of fans and secured a place on the annual lists of renowned colleagues such as Casper or Kraftklub.

The singles "Bring mich nach Hause", "Platz am Fenster" and "Berlin ist keine Stadt" continue to underline Betterov's exceptional status and show that the enthusiasm for him is not unfounded. This was also recognized by the jurors* of the prestigious 2022 Pop Culture Awards, where Betterov was nominated in the categories "Most Hopeful Newcomer" as well as "Most Impressive Live Show" and won the award for "Favorite Video." Betterov has described difficult times, searched for reasons and at the same time given hope with his courageous album "Olympia" from 2022, which, among other things, deals with the topic of mental health, in addition to various personal topics and special observations. The album deals with themes such as love, lost love, the search for one's identity and the desire to belong. It shows that it is precisely non-conformity that can be the greatest strength.
