In the organizer's words:

To mark International Women's Day, there will be a special beer tasting on 05.03.2026. Because what many people don't know: Beer was once purely a women's thing! Many women have shaped the world of beer, instead of coffee parties there used to be beer parties and the symbol of the witch unfortunately also has something to do with beer.

You can find out how all this fits together at the beer tasting on 05.03.2026. There will only be beers that were brewed by women or have a women's history background. However, the beer tasting is NOT ONLY aimed at women, everyone (aged 18 and over) is welcome!

The beer tasting will take place from 7.30 pm at Café George (Mainz Neustadt).

Included in the beer tasting are all beer samples, the beer presentation, as well as water and bread to neutralize.
