Research results of the University of Rostock on education and participation of Muslims in MV are presented and discussed
Lecture & subsequent discussion

The project "Being Muslim in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern" at the University of Rostock surveyed Muslims in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2023 using an online questionnaire on selected areas of everyday life. The lecture will present results on the use of cultural and social offerings. More specifically, participation in leisure venues such as public libraries and youth centers as well as the use of professional counseling services will be discussed. Based on open answers from the questionnaire, the needs of the respondents, including the desire for non-discriminatory spaces, intercultural exchange and better accessibility, will also be examined.
