Binombinom
In the organizer's words:
Binombinom is a quartet consisting of four international musicians who met at the Moers Festival in 2025. Their music spans jazz, contemporary, and experimental genres, with a focus on free improvisation.
They recently released their first single, “Glücksbrunne”—a sonic journey inspired by the surroundings of the Eremitage Arlesheim.
Listen to the music – “Glücksbrunne” on Bandcamp
Since the music was played and recorded at the Eremitage Arlesheim, the venue audibly contributes to the overall sound. This translation of “situation and surroundings” is what binombinom has taken to heart—and what can also be heard in their live performances. The group consists of Mikael Szafirowski (guitar), Andy Hafner (drums), Tim von Malotki (saxophone, clarinet), and Anouk Neyens (saxophone).
