Birth Control - 60 years of pure Krautrock and not a bit quiet!

What a legend, what a band history full of highs and lows. Apart from the Rolling Stones and Guru Guru, there is hardly a comparable band that has been live on the road for so long and is still bursting with energy.

After the sudden death of rock legend Bernd "Nossi" Noske, the drummer and voice of Birth Control († 18.02.2014), fans and fellow musicians were shocked and everyone asked themselves the question: "can, or should the band go on at all"?

The name Birth Control is closely associated with Nossi and without his voice and drumming it would actually be history ... but where there is an end, there is also a new beginning!

Birth Control has always stood (and still stands!) for excellent progressive rock music that has thrilled fans at home and abroad for decades, especially at live concerts. Without Birth Control, the music landscape in Germany would be poorer ...! So why stop when not everything has been done?

Birth Control will - here and now - keep this spirit alive in the spirit of Bernd "Nossi" Noske

with musicians who have helped shape the band's sound over the past 5 decades! With the current line-up, Sascha Kühn (keyboards), Hannes Vesper (bass), Martin Ettrich (guitar, talk box), Peter Föller (vocals) and Manni von Bohr (drums), the band has released two studio albums and one live album.
