Cornucopia was conceived as a residency show at The Shed in New York after Björk's last album "Utopia" and received excellent reviews. Rolling Stone commented that it was a "spectacle of innovative sound and image." The new Cornucopia show is the original stage show featuring her catalog of music, with the addition of music from her latest Grammy-nominated album, "Fossora."
"Cornucopia was always meant to be a world for Utopia and the album that followed it, which is now out under the name Fossora. So I'm really looking forward to these two worlds coming together in Europe this fall." - Björk
Cornucopia includes digital visuals by media artist Tobias Gremmler, Andy Huang, Nick Knight, M/M, a stage design by Chiara Stephenson, the flute septet Viibra, clarinetists, a harpist, percussion, electronics, and an array of custom instruments integrated into the innovative surround sound stage design, including a custom reverb chamber.
