A look inside the BADEHAUS

General meeting with film screening and neighborhood party:

The death march memorial procession with 98-year-old former concentration camp prisoner Nick Hope from the USA, the visit by contemporary witness Shai Lachman from Jerusalem, the reading by cabaret artist and author Josef Brustmann, who comes from a family of displaced persons from Waldram, and our awards with the "Green Wanninger" and the SPD's "Bridge Builder Prize" are just some of the special events that have shaped our past association year. The research trip to Israel by the young Badehäusler:innen, the new timeline in the museum and the artistic interventions by Michael von Brentano and Max Schmelcher were also highlights for our civic remembrance project in 2023.

At our general meeting, we will report on the latest developments in the association and museum and present our work for the archive and collection. We will also be showing unknown film documents from Föhrenwald that we found in the USA - in black and white and in color! Afterwards, all guests are invited to socialize at the neighbourhood Kolping festival with live music and a children's program.
