BLÜHEND UN_GEZÄHMT shows nature for what it is: unpredictable, contradictory and under ecological pressure. An exhibition between fascination and threat - and a clear rejection of any notion of harmony.

Forget idyllic nature: here it is rampant, decaying and slipping away from all control. Beauty is only a moment - after that it turns sinister. A group of ten artists takes organic growth to the extreme. Using a variety of techniques, they create works that do not depict nature, but dissect, exaggerate and reassemble it. Flowers become strange creatures, forms get out of control, the familiar is radically alienated.
