BOBfest enters its third round with Judas Priest and Airbourne

The first bands for BOBfest 2026 have been announced and they are names that will make SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach shake on July 25, 2026: With Judas Priest as headliners, real metal legends from the UK will be on stage and with the Australian hard rockers from Airbourne, a band that always delivers with their brilliant rock planks. Visitors can look forward to a day full of rock sound, trendy merch and food stalls and a real BOB atmosphere. More bands will be announced in the new year.

After the celebrated editions with Fury in the Slaughterhouse and Mando Diao in 2024 and Alice Cooper and Danko Jones in 2025, RADIO BOB! is continuing its success story and bringing rock heavyweights to the stage again in 2026. Judas Priest, icons of heavy metal, have been shaping the genre for over five decades. With classics such as Painkiller and Electric Eye, the Brits have written music history - and in 2026 they will show that their firepower is unbroken. BOBfest will be one of the band's few European concerts - an exclusive experience for all metalheads.

Airbourne deliver Australian hard rock in its most intense form. Their live shows are known for sweat, riffs and pure demolition. At BOBfest 2026, they meet an audience that celebrates exactly that - loud, direct, unstoppable.

Away from the stage, the festival site offers everything a rock heart desires: from varied street food to vinyl and music literature stands and exclusive merch. And, of course, the large BOB stand is not to be missed - with promotions, surprises and lots of rock to take away.

BOBfest 2026 promises a single, intense festival day full of rock anthems, encounters and genuine BOB spirit.

You can also expect a dealer area with BOB and band merchandise, BOB's Rockstation, vinyl dealers and other stands on the grounds of SparkassenPark. There will also be plenty to eat and drink: sweet and savory, vegan, vegetarian and typical festival food stands will be available.
