In the organizer's words:

Body of Nature is a photographic series by Berlin-based artist Madlen Duderstedt that explores the subtle transitions between body and nature. Using double exposure and layering image techniques, fragments of skin merge with sky, water or earth - moments in which inner and outer landscapes resonate with each other.

The landscape photographs were taken in New Zealand, Australia and Portugal - places that have shaped the artist. The series moves between softness and expanse, closeness and dissolution, and invites us to understand the body as part of the environment, not separate from it.

The exhibition takes place at Fincan Neukölln - a location that is perfectly suited to the intimate, atmospheric imagery of Body of Nature.
