Boentes Bergbautour – Auf den Spuren der Steinkohle
In the organizer's words:
On Boente's Mining Tour, you will learn interesting and curious, poignant and exciting, historical and current tales about coal mining, the underground world, culture and Recklinghausen on a real journey through time. The bus tour takes place on the last Wednesday of every month from April to September. Special tours are available on request. The tour starts at the Suberg's brewery near Boente. After handing out Bütterkes and Püllekes for the road, the tour sets off and visits historic mining sites.
