SUMMER FESTIVAL CLOSING CONCERT

INTERNATIONAL SUMMER FESTIVAL 2024

Summer festival finale at Kampnagel with "perhaps the best live band in the world" (laut.de).

In the 2000s, no band poured Berlin's neo-hippie hedonism into such an exalted musical form as Bonaparte: with danceable electro-punk and lots of animal costumes, the band led by Swiss musician Tobias Jundt created stage happenings that soon filled large halls as a continuation of the techno party with the means of performance. The SZ called Jundt the "first real Berlin pop star since Peaches". Musically, the former jazz guitarist continued to develop his colorful Bonaparte idea on a total of six studio albums in the direction of smart agit-pop with influences from different continents, collaborated with Modeselektor, Bela B. and Sophie Hunger, and finally went on a farewell tour in 2019 after over 700 concerts. Bonaparte returned in 2024 with the sold-out QUIET & The RIOT tour, during which the band showcased their full bipolar range in both classical concert halls and rock clubs. Fittingly, double singles will be released again and again this year and a new album in September - after this legendary performance band put the musical crown on this year's summer festival at the end.
