Boogie Pilots (Kultursommer)

The musicians of the "Boogie Pilots", led by Felix Wiegand from Höchberg, are 100% rock 'n' roll specialists and are among the most sought-after rock 'n' roll musicians in Germany.

Felix Wiegand is the double bass player of "Dick Brave and the Backbeats" around the pop star "Sasha" and has also played with Peter Kraus.

The busy musicians of the "Boogie Pilots" are the heart and founders of the projects Las Vegas Elvis Revival Show, Good Rocking Tonight, History of Rock ́n Roll and the Blue Sky Orchestra and have been touring Germany and Europe together for over 20 years.

With the "Boogiepilots" they are on their way back to their roots with their own Rock ́n Roll Trio and what you get to hear is simply incredibly good and goes straight to the legs.

The repertoire includes tons of hits from the 50s to the early 60s in authentic sound with double bass, guitar, snair drum, 3 part vocals. Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Bill Haley and Elvis Presley. In addition, a whole slew of original compositions and several retro cover versions in 50s style:
