Johannes Brahms | Concerto for Violin, Violoncello and Orchestra in A minor op. 102
Violinist Antje Weithaas and cellist Maximilian Hornung, long-time musical partners of the KAP, have often performed Johannes Brahms' impressive and beautiful-sounding double concerto internationally. In 2021, they received the BBC Music Magazine Award for their recording of the work. For the first time, the two will perform together with Markus Stenz, a renowned concert and opera conductor who likes to make Haydn's symphonic works the focus of his exciting programs.
