Braunschweiger Krimifestival 2024

During the festival period from October 20 to November 4, a total of 31 events at 21 different locations will keep the Lion City in suspense: National and international authors, murderous musical evenings, exciting guided tours of real-life cases, extraordinary locations.

The festival kicks off on October 20 with bestselling author Jean-Luc Bannalec at the Staatstheater Braunschweig. Together with cultural journalist Margarete von Schwarzkopf and actor Wolfram Koch, he will present his latest Inspector Dupin crime thriller BRETONISCHE SEHNSUCHT.
On October 22, the successful Austrian author Bernhard Aichner will present his latest thriller YOKO in the city library. On October 23, crime writer Alex Beer will be a guest at the Landessparkasse Dankwardstraße. With DIE WEIßE STUNDE she presents the 6th volume of her historical crime series set in Vienna in the 1920s.

Also taking part: South African author Deon Meyer with THE HOUR OF THE LION, Swiss author Petra Ivanov with KRYO - THE RECOMMENDATION, Pernilla Ericson from Sweden with IN THE EARTH and many, many more.
