Slow Club Freiburg presents: BRAZEY + SKROLLAN

On "five hearts no control" we are greeted by a multitude of voices.

Let's imagine that each of the five hearts belongs to a voice.

Each voice is a search engine that is sent on an exploration with questions from BRAZEY and instead finds a thousand memes (about itself).

So they can never be fully localized, as they are on the move, in the midst of their missions.

We become witnesses to their web:
Golden threads through a plethora of emotions and information, leaving nothing else in their tangle untouched.

We stick with them, they endure.

They howl and sometimes find themselves in agreement, agreeing with each other.

Through their correspondence, the spaces open up musically.

"five hearts no control" opens up to the airy concert halls and jazz stages of BRAZEY's musical past.

Her instruments are also woven into the dense tapestry of sound, which nevertheless seems light and is occasionally compressed by electronic interventions, briefly rising to its highest points in pop and then again eluding any definition.

Only one thing is common to all the songs:
An intoxicating intimacy that defines BRAZEY's unique style with its astonishing clarity.
