In the organizer's words:
Marcià brings together three musicians who share a passion for jazz and Brazilian music. The Montreal-based musicians combine their respective worlds to create Marcià's world, traveling the choppy and unpredictable waters of hybrid jazz. As a trio with rare instrumentation, Marcia combines voice, flute and guitar in pieces that combine the intimacy of a small ensemble with the energy of improvisation. Live in our courtyard.
