Breaking the Cage - Brittisk

Breaking the Cage - this is the name of the concert program by electronic singer-songwriter Brittisk. The title stands for her personal and musical awakening: three and a half years ago, she began to go her own way. She learned to compose and produce the music for her songs herself, thus realizing a long-cherished dream step by step - a life full of artistic and musical creativity.

Her songs tell of this journey. Her melodic compositions stay in the memory for a long time and ensure that some people go home with a catchy tune. Northern Norway, the homeland of her family of origin, plays a special role in this.

Brittisk has lived in Potsdam for more than 27 years. This combination of different cultures and living environments is also reflected in her music. The concert begins with Blue Light, inspired by a fascinating light phenomenon in wintry northern Norway, and ends with an improvised live set full of energy and joie de vivre.
