Heinrich Detering in conversation with Troy Vettese and Drew Pendergrass
Mr. Keuner's meditations on the beauty of trees prompt Troy Vettese and Drew Pendergrass to claim Brecht as a precursor to their Half Earth Socialism Program: Among Marxists, Brecht was an exception, as thanks to the influence of Daoist thinking, he had an inkling of how to overcome productivism, which still dominates socialist thinking today and stands in the way of the emergence of "green socialism". Together with Heinrich Detering, who has researched Brecht and Laozi, they discuss Brecht as an eco-socialist avant la lettre.
