This year's Local Heroes will be crowned by the band Rockport from the seaside town!
The band "Rockport" was founded at the end of 2022 by seven distinguished musicians from Bremerhaven and the surrounding area, who play many cool songs from the 70s-2000s as a rock-pop cover band. The two voices of Melli and Henky are particularly striking, creating a great atmosphere with many classic rock songs by Tina Turner, Bryan Adams or Bon Jovi, but also with some soul and funk songs and a little Neue Deutsche Welle - pretty close to the original and yet with a lot of creative class of their own.
