The new dance program for the Kleine Haus is dedicated to the art of letter writing, be it love letters, famous correspondence or "writing to oneself" in the form of diary entries. In addition to the content of the texts, the focus will be on writing itself or, more precisely, on the handwritten letter that makes up a personal letter. What is behind the movement of writing? As a child, you learn the technique of writing, only later can it be about the art of writing. A letter always contains more than words. Handwriting reflects personality, unlike impersonal printed letters, such as in an e-mail. As the recipient of a letter, you hold something concrete and personal in your hands, in a sense a part of the author. Letters carry meaning. They are artifacts of our personal and social history.
