It's that time again on the second weekend in July: Brinkhoff's Brunnenfestival brings atmosphere, music and a real festival feeling to Lünen's city center. On Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Theaterparkplatz and Pfarrer-Bremer-Parkplatz will be transformed into Lünen's largest beer garden - with Free admission!
The largest music event of its kind in the district of Unna delights thousands of visitors every year with a rousing live program on two stages, cool beer and an exuberant open-air atmosphere - all under the motto: summer, sun, free and outdoors!
Friday: "Lünen dances the 90s" - pure nostalgia on the main stage, from 6 pm
The cult format "Lünen dances the 90s" kicks off on Friday evening. Here, the theater parking lot becomes a huge party zone when the biggest hits and dancefloor classics of the decade are brought back to life. Whether Eurodance, pop or boy bands - DJ acts and show interludes will get the audience singing along and dancing the night away.
Saturday: BossHoss rock the main stage
The absolute highlight of this year's festival comes on Saturday evening when BossHoss take to the main stage. The Berlin band stands for an explosive mix of country, rock, punk and rockabilly, which they bring to the stage with plenty of energy and guaranteed showmanship. Since their formation in 2004, the seven cowboys with their characteristic outfits, guitar riffs and southern sounds have developed into one of the most successful live acts in Germany. Whether their own songs or surprising cover versions - BossHoss deliver a show not to be missed!
Alternative Stage: from ska to death pop
The Alternative Stage on the Pfarrer Bremer parking lot also offers an exciting line-up on both days. This is where indie vibes meet harder sounds and musical diversity: NØFX - Europe's best NOFX tribute band - brings the energetic skate punk of the US legends authentically to the stage. An absolute must for punk rock fans. THE AWESOME SCAMPIS - The colorful troupe provides danceable festival moments with rousing ska-punk and a good portion of brass sound. BLOOD COMMAND - An international band with members from Norway and Australia who describe their style as death pop - a fascinating mix of hardcore, punk and catchy melodies.
A festival for everyone
With its mixture of rock, pop, new influences, nostalgia and alternative culture, Brinkhoff's Brunnenfestival offers a program that inspires across all generations. Two stages, two days, lots of music - with Free admission! If you love an open-air atmosphere, cool drinks and good music, you should mark this date in your diary.
Glass ban
To ensure that, as in previous years, visitors can look forward to a happy and relaxed atmosphere on the festival grounds, there will once again be admission controls at the entrances. It is not permitted to bring in drinks and this will be checked at the entrance controls.
The festival is an event organized by the cultural office of the city of Lünen in cooperation with the partners Antenne Unna, Brinkhoff's Brauerei, the Arens family of showmen, the sponsors Volksbank Lünen and Stadtwerke Lünen and the Alternative Stage organization team. The district of Unna is supporting the festival this year as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
