BRKN - Fatter! The show

A lot has happened with BRKN. 2021 saw the release of his third album "Drama" after a three-year break. His most successful album to date, on which he perfected his style: An opulent soundscape, emotional lyrics about separation and mental health, where tears can flow. The jack-of-all-trades presents the scene with a concept album that goes beyond rap and, according to Puls, becomes "your favorite musician's favorite musician". BRKN's real name is Andac Berkan Akbiyik and he was born in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 1991. He grew up there in a Turkish-Armenian-Kurdish household. Early musical education is a priority there, he learns the piano and saxophone, starts rapping at the age of 12 and teaches himself to play the guitar as a self-taught musician. He wrote his own lyrics at an early age, his tracks and style became recognizable and he had long since made a name for himself in the scene. Sold-out venues, his own solo tours and collaborations with Herbert Grönemeyer.

In 2023, he released his latest EP "Rahat" (from Turkish: calm). The EP picks up stringently where the last album ends. BRKN continues to rap autobiographically about life, about his self-perception. A diverse sound, more belief in himself and finding peace in the process: This EP manifests a new development for BRKN. After his tour in spring 2023 and a successful festival season, BRKN will return to German stages at the end of the year. The live latenight show BRKN, dicker! The show. with BRKN as host, in which top-class artists such as Sido, Trettmann, Bausa, Marteria and many more have already been guests, is back! With a new look and fresh charm.
