Brühler Schlosskonzerte: Chouchane Siranossian (Violine) & Capella Augustina & Andreas Spering

'It is the privilege of exceptional artists to draw all the attention to themselves. The violinist Chouchane Siranossian is of this kind. The regular audience of the Brühl Palace Concerts will surely agree with this hymn of praise from the French music magazine 'Diapason', after all, the musician was concertmaster of the Capella Augustina for many years before she made a worldwide career as a soloist. For her return to her old musical friends, Chouchane Siranossian has chosen Beethoven's groundbreaking Violin Concerto. The program also includes the 'Symphony with a Drumbeat', one of the great London symphonies, in the creation of which the musician and impresario Johann Peter Salomon, who like Beethoven came from Bonn and worked in London, played a major role: without him, Haydn might never have come to England.
