In the organizer's words:

Once upon a time there was a bookshelf. Full of well-preserved novels, thrillers, poetry and non-fiction books that had one thing in common: they wanted to be read again. Their pages, clean and carefully handled, were longing to find their way into new hands, into new minds and hearts.

And that is precisely why the Makerspace Büchercafé is opening its doors.

In a bright, friendly atmosphere, we invite you to browse between the rows of books, take a work home with you or sink into it directly on site with freshly brewed coffee and a slice of cake.

The book café thrives on book swaps: bring along a good book that you would like to pass on - and in return discover another one that piques your curiosity.

Whether you want to dream yourself into other worlds or simply meet nice neighbors - everyone will find a place here.

The books are looking forward to a second, third or fourth life. And maybe the story you need right now is waiting for you.
