On Sunday, July 7, LIT:potsdam invites all young and old literature fans and flaneurs to our annual book festival in Schiffbauergasse. A literary market awaits you with a colorful mix of classic literature, children's book illustrations, literature start-ups, modern fairy tales and much more. An exciting summer day awaits the youngest literature fans with face painting, literary games, giant soap bubbles and exciting hands-on activities at the market stalls. Catering will be provided by Afrocats, among others, with delicious Cameroonian street food, freshly prepared on site.
Newcomer:inside stage at the market
Numerous readings are planned throughout the day on our market stage. This year, the small reading stage in the heart of the market will be open to newcomers from a wide range of genres. Each hour will focus on a different theme and as yet unknown authors will have the opportunity to present their work. Among the guests are winners of the Berlin-Brandenburg Prize for Young Literature "THEO". The children and young people will read their award-winning works on the topics of traces and waste.
