Bücherspende 2024: Gib deinen Büchern ein zweites Leben!

📚 Is your bookshelf overflowing after Christmas? Or would you like to clear out your flat/flat share room for the new year? Then we have a tip for you! 🙌

👉 The "Book Donation" project from the student initiative Talente Spenden is once again collecting books, games, DVDs and console games for the Pfennigparade Foundation from 23-25.01.2024. Your donation will support the inclusion of people with disabilities in society. Join in and bring your items to the "book donation" stand. 📖🎲

In Munich and Garching:

When: 23 - 25.01.2024 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: Department of Mechanical Engineering Hof 0, Boltzmannstraße 15, 85748 Garching near Munich or TUM main campus, Arcisstr. 21 80333 Munich in the matriculation hall (opposite the service desk)

In Freising:

When: 23-24.01.2024 from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Where: TUM Mensa Weihenstephan, Maximus-von-Imhof-Forum 5, 85354 Freising (next to the café bar)

Can't make it during this period? You can also drop off your books between 22 - 26.01.24 at the branch libraries in Garching (Mechanical Engineering), Stammgelände and Weihenstephan.

✨Aboutthe "Book donation" project:✨

"Bücherspende" is a project by the student initiative "Talente Spenden". Since 2018, the team behind the campaign has been collecting donations in kind for the Pfennigparade Foundation once a semester. They resell the books, games etc. in their second-hand store "Münchner Bücherkiste" for a small amount of money and use the proceeds to expand projects for the inclusion of people with disabilities.

The Pfennigparade Foundation is a rehabilitation center for people with physical disabilities based in Munich. The main goals of the foundation are inclusion and social participation of people with disabilities.
