What does a weekly market sound like when several people look at it at the same time - and write at the same time? For the weekly market edition, ten writing slots were recorded in parallel at the Linden market over the course of an entire market day: the events on site as well as their own thoughts at the same moment. The transcripts were anonymized and compiled as a polyphonic, chronologically continuous edition.

At the book premiere at FALTE, we will read excerpts from the edition and give an insight into the method of parallel logging - between everyday exploration, city observation and collective writing. Afterwards, Stefie Steden will give an insight into the artist residencies at Kunsthalle Below (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) and talk about how such residencies are organized and what forms of community are tested there.
