Quiet in the hall! Edith Löhle is joining us on September 14 to put the heroes and heroines of our childhood on trial—and we’ve even managed to secure a very special venue for the occasion. She’ll be presenting her new novel, *Kurzer Prozess*, at Clärchens Ballhaus.

While Chief Prosecutor Reha prepares for the trial of a lifetime, reporter Lexi senses the story that will finally land her a prime-time spot. Amid case files, fairy dust, and headlines, something is brewing between the two—until their own morals begin to waver. This satirical novel is a wild and imaginative ride through the cultural history of our childhood ideals.

Edith Löhleis a journalist and author. After working in lifestyle media for over ten years—most recently as editor-in-chief of the German editions ofNYLONandBLONDEmagazine—her work now focuses on gender equality. As the writer of the ZDF documentary “Digital Empire: Programmed Injustice,” she was nominated for the German Television Award in 2022. She also founded HeyNana.de, the “grandma” platform for intergenerational dialogue. Her literary debut,*Bible Bad Ass*, was published in 2024.
