In 1996, guitarist Ry Cooder brought together a group of Cuban music legends to record the album Buena Vista Social Club in Havana. Internationally acclaimed, the music project inspired director Wim Wenders to document the club's work. The result is a spectacular compilation of both concert recordings and the musicians' life stories.
