His songs are bursting with musical and linguistic finesse, and his unadulterated, playful a cappella beatbox sound is unparalleled, and not just in the children's genre. Anyone familiar with his artfully crazy music videos knows that this is someone who has a very idiosyncratic way of making fun of himself. For some it's a pedagogical nightmare, for others - language development and humorous early education par excellence! Bummelkasten's anarchic stage show euphorizes children, parents and non-parents alike. With lots of meta-humor, escalating acting interludes and crazy Loopstation escapades, the Berlin vocal acrobat works his way through contradictions in a fun-driven way. Refreshingly non-conformist, he takes conventional children's entertainment apart - and turns it into a wonderfully cramp-relieving and unifying family experience.
