At the nationwide Civil Protection Day 2026 in Freiburg, you can take a look behind the scenes of the fire department, police, THW, aid organizations and many other players in civil protection.

Exciting demonstrations, modern emergency technology, hands-on activities and numerous opportunities to talk to emergency services and experts await you on the grounds. It's not just about major operations, but also about practical tips for personal precautions in everyday life.

Families are also very welcome: Children will have their own hands-on activities to discover and try out.

The performance competitions of the Freiburg Volunteer Fire Brigade will take place at the same time. In its 175th anniversary year, the firefighters will be demonstrating their skills and showing how important voluntary work is for our society.
