Castle tours through Schwanthaler's childhood dream turned to stone

When Schwaneck Castle wakes up from its winter hibernation after the lockdown at the turn of the year, the traditional "Open Castle Gate Day" takes place. It's happening again on Sunday, January 25, 2026! There will be a total of four guided tours of the castle. You can take a look inside the rooms of the castle that are otherwise not open to the public and learn all kinds of interesting facts and anecdotes about Schwanthaler Castle. Visitors can also expect a little musical surprise in the small knights' hall. Café Schwanthaler is open before and after the guided tours.

Admission is half an hour before the start of each tour.

► Participation recommended for ages 12 and up
