Marion (Laura Tonke) and Andi (Moritz Bleibtreu) consider themselves model parents despite their divorce and look after their eleven-year-old son Milan (Valentin Thatenhorst) fifty-fifty. However, their summer vacation together in Italy, where Marion's new boyfriend (David Kross) is also present, reveals surprising gaps in their upbringing: Milan is a spoiled only child who drinks espresso, deliberately plays his parents off against each other, but can't even swim yet. Time for a new chapter of parental care! Marion and Andi decide to tackle the shortcomings of their upbringing together and become closer again.
