C2C EVENTREIHE: #3 STADT ALS LEBENSRAUM

The construction industry is one of the most resource- and waste-intensive economic sectors in the world and is responsible for 60% of the waste generated in Germany. As urbanization and population growth will continue to increase in the future, we cannot afford this waste of resources. We urgently need sustainable approaches such as C2C in the construction industry, because buildings can do more than just provide a roof over our heads. For example, they can have a positive impact on water and air, provide a habitat for animals and plants and contribute to the efficient use of land.

In the third stage of the C2C event series, we will focus on the construction industry and shed light on how existing and already used (building) materials not only help to be less bad for the urban climate, but even improve water and air.
