Cairo Steps is one of the leading music projects in the field of instrumental music with a history of over 20 years. The project has won the Gold German Jazz Award twice with Quadro Nuevo and has performed in some of the most renowned international theaters and opera houses, including Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, LA, New York and Cairo. The project is led by a group of highly talented and experienced musicians who specialize in a variety of instrumental music styles, including jazz, classical and world music. They have been able to create a unique and captivating sound that has earned them critical acclaim and a loyal fan base.

Cairo Steps has a reputation for producing high quality music and is known for their dynamic live performances. Their music is characterized by an innovative blend of traditional and contemporary elements and draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Arab world. They have also adapted to different audiences and venues and have played in some of the most prestigious venues worldwide.

For this special evening of dialog, the ensemble led by Egyptian mastermind Basem Derwisch invites renowned Israeli pianist Roglit Ishay, professor of piano chamber music at the University of Freiburg, and Moroccan star percussionist and local ambassador Rhani Krija. He has accompanied superstars Sting and Sarah Connor for several years.
