California Girls is the story of three friends and their microwave. The world of the play is created using only the light from an overhead projector. On stage, the actors are joined by the wonderful Beach Boys, supplying you with hot tunes all day and all night. California Girls is a playful and mesmerizing play, intimate and innocent. It invites the audience into a home; a home that we can’t possibly hold on to, a home that is forever changing, a home filled with the soothing smell of freshly popped popcorn.
