CALL OF THE WILD III
It had rained overnight, and at dawn a fine mist wafted across the grassy
and seeped between the trees at the edge of the forest. Yesterday, Daniel Sailer (Where the Buffalo roam, Distillery, Leipzig) had spotted several chimpanzees in a tree near the forest during a round of record spinning.

This morning, Senta Julien (Elipamanoke, Station Endlos, Leipzig/Halle) wanted to go somewhere else
for her next dancefloor killers on vinyl. In the forest we wandered into
dripped water from the foliage, and trunks and branches were covered in moss and ferns.

As we walked, we listened to Stanley Hottek - LIVE! (Planet Pump Rec., Kellermusik Rec., Leipzig)
delightedly listened to his beloved live instruments, which had just heard the clapping of the water droplets
in the foliage and the casual, regular calls of two not unfamiliar birds
could be heard:
One, Kurt Komell, one half of our Queps Visual Art Group, whistled a short, clean-stepped do-re-mi, the second, Steffen Koch, who completes the brotherly Queps project produced a five-note trill.
From a little further away, a plethora of sounds could be heard, shouts and answering calls from the
hidden Tim Vis (video artist, based in Greece and Germany, with Live Visualizer he creates crazy abstract paintings in videos for the dancefloor), plus cooing and screeching, chirping and chirping sounds from the third video-optics offensive force of the evening: VJ Rey Menta (who will make the long journey from Nice, France especially for us).
