Capoeira für Kinder

Are you in the mood for some exercise, exciting moves, and cool music? Then Capoeira is just the thing for you!

Capoeira comes from Brazil and combines martial arts, dance, acrobatics, and music into a very special form of movement. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic moves and kicks alongside an experienced Capoeira Contra Mestre, practice evasion maneuvers, and try your hand at some simple acrobatic elements.

In addition to movement and fun, you’ll also learn about Brazilian culture and the music that’s part of capoeira. No prior experience is required—what matters most is curiosity, a love of movement, and a desire to try something new.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring plenty of drinks.

For children ages 6 and up, the class runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. For children ages 10 to 14, the class runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
