When it doesn't matter whether it's jazz or pop, when terms like coolness and serenity are secondary, when the Cécile Verny Quartet starts to blur the boundaries and the front woman is given exactly the space she needs for her emotions: Then, exactly then, it's worth going.

For many years now, the Cécile Verny Quartet has been playing its final concert of the year on the last Sunday before Christmas at the Jazzhaus in Freiburg, with something special in their luggage every year. This time the band is in work flow, preparing for a new program, a new CVQ album. Many numerous new songs have already been written and will - naturally alongside a few classics from the CVQ repertoire - not be withheld from the audience.
