Celeste live in Germany in June with her new album "Woman of Faces"

Anyone who was lucky enough to see British singer and songwriter Celeste live at one of her first appearances in Germany at the Reeperbahn Festival in the Imperial Theater in 2019 already knew back then that this was the start of a great artist. Celeste already had songs like "Lately" or "Both Sides Of The Moon" in her setlist, which balanced perfectly between the poles of soul, jazz and pop, but above all she had this powerful, smoky voice that sounded wise despite her very young age at the time. There were standing ovations at the end of the Reeperbahn Festival set, the likes of which are rarely seen.

But Celeste refused to be rushed and built her career at her own pace: The debut album "Not Your Muse" was released in 2021 and impressed with great songs such as "Stop This Flame", "Strange" and "Ideal Woman". In Germany, it charted at number 6 in the album charts - in her home country at number 1. It was the first time in five years that a singer had achieved this position in the UK.

Now her second album is out: it's called "Woman of Faces" and Celeste promises nothing less than "the best songs I've ever written". Many of her fans will agree with that.

So it will be interesting to see how Celeste will bring this music to the stage on her tour for the album. She will be stopping off in Germany in June, playing 2 shows in Berlin and Cologne.
